About Learn with Duncan
I’m Duncan Hamilton-Sheen, a fully qualified Government-approved Driving Instructor (ADI) with a real passion for road safety.
My wife and I are also foster carers, and we’ve welcomed many wonderful children into our home—one young man has lived with us for over ten years. I’m proud of every child’s successes, and that same patience and care inform how I teach.
Self-employed since 1995, I take a simple approach: effective, enjoyable teaching built around each learner as an individual. Hands-on practice, clear guidance, and professional coaching—it's a trusted formula that works.
Learn with Duncan provides:
- Individual automatic driving lessons
- Training for potential driving instructors (PDIs)
Although I work with many fantastic pupils via the AA Motability scheme, my school is fully independent. That means I set and maintain my own high standards for customer care and tuition.
